We started Toast to Coffee to support healthcare workers who work tireless shifts day and night. It’s not only a business for us, but also a heartfelt tribute to these frontline heroes.

Each cup you brew is a warm embrace that shows nurses, doctors, medical assistants, EMTs, and everyone who has dedicated their lives to caring for the health of others.

Many of these healthcare heroes work extreme hours and get very little time off. They often sacrifice time with their family and friends. Some frontline workers also don’t receive enough compensation to cover the rising cost of living. As a society we should do more to help them.

These healthcare heroes deserve all the good and here's our dedication in a cup full of pure love and joy!

To make life easier for them we have dedicated 10% of our earnings to these incredible heroes. It is our way of helping support the physical, financial, emotional, and mental burden they carry for all of us!

The proceeds will be donated to our non-profit partners, the American Nurses Foundation, Project HOPE, and MedShare, leaving a positive impact on our community.

Koffi Houegnigan - The Heart Behind Toast to Coffee

Meet Koffi Houegnigan, the man behind the beans! Koffi grew up in a small village in Africa, where the basic necessities were not a guarantee. As a child, he would walk miles to get water. These challenging experiences worked as a strong motivation for Koffi.

As an adult, Koffi moved to the United States. He began working at a fast-food restaurant, taking a bus two hours to get to a location only 30 minutes away by car. He kept pushing himself to do better and studied to get his GED while commuting and working long shifts. Then, he studied to become a nurse’s assistant, and is currently a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Working on the frontline of healthcare throughout the pandemic, Koffi wanted to find a way to give back to his fellow healthcare heroes while continuing to build his American Dream. With so many doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers drinking coffee to stay fueled for long shifts, the idea came to him – Toast to Coffee! A way to support healthcare heroes and enjoy a warm, satisfying cup of coffee.
